TXEA After School
Texas Empowerment Academy’s After School Program provides students with a safe, structured, and enriching environment beyond the regular school day. Our program complements classroom learning through academic support, enrichment, recreation, and character development, while providing additional assistance for students who may need individualized academic support.
The program is available to all TXEA students in PK–12 and operates from 4:00 PM–6:00 PM on program days.
Due to changes in state and federal grant funding, the After School Program is now fee-based for the 2026–2027 school year.
Program Fees & Registration
Regular After School tuition is $150 per month for the first child and $50 per month for each additional sibling. December tuition is prorated to $75 for the first child.
A $50 nonrefundable registration fee applies to initial registrations September through May and is applied toward that month’s tuition. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month, with a $20 late fee per child for payments received after the 10th.
Families may enroll throughout the school year. Students who attend the program at any time during a month are responsible for the full monthly tuition.
Athletics & Other Activities
Middle and High School student-athletes pay a one-time $150 Athletic Program Fee, which covers all sports the student participates in during the school year, provided the student makes each team. This fee replaces the regular After School Program fee for student-athletes and is not an additional fee.
Students participating in band, choir, cheer, fine arts, or other after-school activities must enroll in the After School Program and pay the applicable tuition. Additional activity-related expenses may apply.
Pick-Up & Late Fees
Students must be picked up by 6:00 PM. A late pick-up fee of $1 per child, per minute applies after 6:00 PM.
Students who are not enrolled in the program must be picked up by 4:00 PM. Students remaining on campus after 4:20 PM may be placed in the After School Program and assessed applicable fees.
