The 2026 season saw unprecedented success. Participation increased across the program, and we fielded full teams at the middle and high school levels. Students challenged themselves in new events, and school record books were rewritten.
All four teams placed in the top three at TCSAAL Central Regional Meet (High School Boys-2nd, High School Girls-2nd, Middle School Boys-2nd, & Middle School Girls-3rd). A total of 22 Student-Athletes qualified to participate in the State Track Meet (including all four of the schools 4×2 relays). The high school boys placed third at the state meet, and brought home a trophy for the first time in school history. Notable State performances; Gold-Venice Showels MSB400m, Bronze-MSB 4×2, Silver-Shiyan Mack HSG200m, Sixth- Imani Green HSG 200m, Sixth- Mary Green-Njoku HSG 100m, Silver- HSG4x2, Seventh-HSG4x4, Silver-HSB 4×1, Silver-HSB 4×2, Bronze-Solon Hall HSB Long Jump, Fourth-Daniel Connor HSB Long Jump, Fourth-Evan Simpson HSB Triple Jump, Sixth-Evan Simpson HSB 200m, Sixth-HSB 4×4).
Our teams seek to compete with the top competition in our area, and frequent some of the best facilities in the state. The TCSAAL Central Regional and State Championships are annually held in San Marcos, on the beautiful campus of Texas State University.
