Primary Campus 

The primary campus consists of grades k-2nd. Our Focus is the development of the whole child. Students are introduced to math, science, social studies, and language arts. In addition,  we augment academics by introducing performance and visual arts, sports, and human development.



Neisha Nunn

Neisha Nunn joined Texas Empowerment Academy in 2014, following three years of service in Taylor ISD. 

Mrs. Nunn grew up in Shiner, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas State University in Elementary Education. Her love for learning informs her leadership and teaching approach, as she views literacy as the foundation of academic progress. Mrs. Nunn earned her master’s degree from Grand Canyon University in 2016 and she is currently pursuing a doctoral degree from Capella University.

During her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her daughter and husband. 

Mrs. Nunn views a collaborative school environment as the key to creating successful teachers and students. She believes partnerships with parents and community members are essential to elevating each child’s experience at Texas Empowerment Academy. 

Mrs. Nunn’s primary goal is continuous student growth and learning. She strongly believes that ALL children have the right to a high quality education where high standards are set, and high achievement is demanded.
