    Students may earn a Distinguished Level of Achievement by successfully completing all of the following:

    • A total of 4 credit hours in Math including Algebra II
    • A total of 4 credit hours in Science
    • Completion of curriculum requirements for at least one endorsement

    (TEA states students must select an endorsement* in the ninth grade. Districts and charters are not required to offer all endorsements. If only one endorsement is offered, it must be multidisciplinary studies.)

     

    PERFORMANCE ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

    Outstanding Performance (as determined by the SBOE) in any of the following:

    • A Dual Credit Course
    • Bilingualism & Biliteracy
    • AP Test or IB Test
    • PSAT, ACT-Plan, SAT or ACT
    • For earning a nationally or internationally recognized business or industry certification or license
